Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Extract

Great for reducing lines and wrinkles that appear as we age. Aloe contains more than 200 active compounds, including vitamins A, B, C, and E, amino acids, enzymes, minerals and polysaccharides that promote cell renewal and hydrate the skin.

Allantoin

A skin protectant and conditioner, Allantoin smooths and strengthens the skin and is excellent for anti-aging and wound healing.

Apricot Kernel Powder

A great moisturizer that firms the skin. Particularly effective for moisturizing oily skin. Quickly absorbed, it soothes and reduces redness. Helps fade wrinkles and minimize the appearance of circles under the eyes. May exacerbate acne.

Arctostaphylos Uva-Ursi Leaf

Native to colder climates, the Uva Ursi Leaf has astringent qualities that make it an effective addition to face and body wash products. Also an antiseptic and antioxidant.

Argania Spinosa Kernel (Argan) Oil

High in antioxidants, this oil from Morocco protects skin’s elasticity and reduces fine lines. Very high in anti-aging Vitamin E and excellent as a treatment for sun damage. Absorbs quickly with no residual oiliness.

Avocado Oil

A skin treatment that’s centuries old, Avocado Oil is a natural for treating and moisturizing dry skin, it’s a nice addition to lotions, creams, shower gels, or bath oils. Use daily with no ill-effects. Can be applied before bedtime and rinsed off in the morning.

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit

Extracted from the nut of a tree native to Africa, Shea Butter moisturizes and revitalizes dry and dull skin and hair. Effective for anti-aging. Contains vitamins A, E and F, and carotene that soothes and hydrates. Offers some UV protection.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride

Derived from coconut oil and glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is considered an excellent emollient and skin-replenishing ingredient. It’s included in cosmetics for its mix of fatty acids that skin can use to replenish and resist moisture loss.

Caryophyllata (Cloverbud) Oil

Massively high in antioxidants that, research suggests, slow aging and maintain cell health. Try it to treat acne.

Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract

Better known simply as Chamomile, the flower extract soothes, moisturizes and calms sensitive skin.

Cinnamomum Camphora (Camphor) Bark Oil

Use Camphor to relieve irritation and improve the skin’s appearance. It is antibacterial and antifungal properties that make it useful for wound care.

Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Oil

An effective addition to any healthy-skin regimen, this oil is rich in vitamin C. Its powerful antioxidant qualities protect skin from cell damage by free radicals – unattached electrons that, looking for companions, scavenge the body to seek out other electrons so they can become a pair. Regulates the build-up of oil in the pores and is an effective astringent and anti-inflammatory.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine

Derived from coconut oil, Cocamidopropyl Betaine promotes the foaming desired in products such as soaps and shampoos. It also helps clean and moisturizes the skin.

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil

This oil contains antioxidant properties and may help heal skin infections and bruising. A natural moisturizer that softens skin and hair. Used in many anti-aging skin care products. Coconut Oil adds a protective layer, helping skin retain moisture.

Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract

Honey Extract

Honey Extract may help reduce swelling, scarring, and speed wound healing. A skin conditioning agent, emollient and moisturizer, honey is also said to be an effective acne treatment, as, unlike many conventional products, it protects the skin’s natural oils. Honey also appears to have strong antimicrobial properties that help prevent growth of certain bacteria on the skin.

Hyaluronic Acid

Your body produces Hyaluronic Acid, and it’s currently the “it girl” of cosmetic ingredients. It helps keep your skin tissues hydrated and supple, so your skin looks healthy and youthful.
